Koala Bears begging for water is Nonsense

Koala Bears don't normally drink water because they get all the fluids they need from the type of gum leaves they eat. They only eat a certain species of Gum tree and many of these have been cleared for housing estates.

Cars and dogs are the other two enemies of the Koala today.

The summer of 2009 is shaping up to be a very hot, dry summer so it looks like our Koala Bear population is going to be even more stressed this summer

Bushfires have already ravaged much of central Qld around Rockhampton and they have recorded new temperatures in South Australia for the hottest day ever on record for November ~ and it isn't yet even summer.
